Conference Program

2015 Senior Women Academics Association of Canada conference graphic

About the Conference

Given our university’s commitment to Community Engagement and the mandate of SWAAC in relation to networking, our conference theme is focused on Engaging Communities. These communities are our colleagues in the post-secondary environment, our colleagues in industry and government, and our colleagues in communities, local and national that we engage with for purposes of research and education. Our relationships with the media will be a subject of discussion as well.

In addition, we intend to engage with communities of women academic leaders who may be mentored to assume leadership roles for the future. The community of SWAAC and its past, present and future will also be a theme.

The conference committee is still working on finalizing aspects of the program, but a preliminary program outline is available for perusal.
